Hi, I'm Amine.
I'm a native French speaker, born and raised in France, and I teach French 1-on-1 over live video — your child joins from your living room, I join from mine.
Before FrenchWithAmine, I built KidMotion, an outdoor sports programme where I coach kids on skates, scooters and bikes. Over 100 kids and teens have been through my sessions there — I know what works with a 7-year-old, a 10-year-old, and a not-quite-cooperative 13-year-old.
At home, I'm a dad of three and homeschool all of them from Grade 1 through Grade 6 — through Homeschool Education Academy, the curriculum platform I built and run. So patience, structure, and “let's go again” are kind of my job description either way.
That's where the idea came from. The kids I coached were curious about French. Their parents wanted them to learn from someone real, not a swipe-and-tap app. There wasn't a clear option — so I built one.
How I teach
- 1-on-1, online, from anywhere. Malta, the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, France, the UAE — if your family speaks English at home and your child is curious about French, we'll find a time slot that works. Time zones are negotiable.
- 60-minute sessions, real conversation, real French. Not screens and swipes — actual talking, listening, and writing with a native speaker.
- A structured 40-lesson A1 pathway that scales for younger learners and older beginners alike. Every lesson has one key sentence, one core vocab set, and a printable homework PDF to do between classes.
- Patient, calm, no shame for mistakes. I'm a dad of three; I know exactly what makes a kid switch off — and what makes them come back excited for the next lesson.
